Awqaf Foundation is a non-profit organisation that works to revive the glory of institution of Waqf in Bangladesh. Inspired by divine virtues of Sadaqah-e-Jariah, AF mobilises Waqf (both property and cash waqf), builds income-generating properties and distribute the usufruct from the properties to the deprived and needy (widows, orphans, new Muslims), Dawah, research and public welfare activities through its well-articulated programmes. AF ensures its accountability and transparency by employing skilled and knowledgeable devout Muslims and implementing modern accountability and transparency practices.
